“Hey brother, this show is amazing. My twin daughters and I are relistening to the whole series, and this podcast alongside it. They are old enough now to have their own theories, so this show has fired up their imagination like it has for so many fans!
In your last episode you asked what Dumbledore may have assumed about Harry’s patronus when he saw it at the quidditch match. What if he - like Harry, initially - mistook it for a unicorn? Dumbledore may have been grateful that Harry, though carrying a piece of Voldemort’s soul, was still pure enough to produce a unicorn patronus. Ironically, having a unicorn patronus (the living embodiment of purity and dementor repellant extraordinaire) would be a double whammy against the forces of despair and hate that Harry would have to battle through the series. Because Dumbledore already had developed a theory that Voldy’s soul latched onto Harry, this evidence of a unicorn patronus also could have given Dumbledore hope that Harry could handle the strain of what would lie ahead for him.
Keep up the good work!!”
