Scientists revealed the first-ever glimpse of a super-massive black hole Wednesday, as the Event Horizon Telescope released its findings in a “ground-breaking” discovery that's being hailed as a paradigm shift for astronomy. In their attempt to capture an image of a black hole, scientists combined the power of eight radio telescopes around the world, creating a virtual telescope around the same size as the Earth itself.
