Insightful and grounding
Having lived in Oregon for a year back in 2010 it sheds some light on life in Oregon. It paints a picture describing the culture outside of the liberal city centers. From an outsider’s perspective I could draw parallels from this story and so many other stories of societies that invest so heavily into a single industry. So many lessons to be learned. The interviews are done very well and reminded me that regardless of how angry and far off others views might be, we’re all still humans at the end of the day.
