more work and more costly? Hmmm. Living in western Oregon I have seen clear cutting. What a terrible rape of the land. I have seen hundreds of log trucks lined up in Coos Bay, Oregon, waiting for their load of logs to be loaded onto a freighter to be sent to China to be processed into lumber and returned to the U. S. The only jobs benefitted are the loggers and the company executives.”
