It’s not a BOMB, it’s a hit!
If life were perfect, I would have posted this last week as a special New Years audio drama review. But better late-then never I present the audio drama mini-series TIME:BOMBS. The story follows Simon Teller leading the NYPD Bomb Squad on New Year’s Eve. This series is brought to you by Gabriel Urbina, Sarah Shachat, & Zach Valenti (@zachvalenti), the creative forces behind Wolf 359 and the No Bad Ideas Podcast. You would think a job that was literally life and death would be done by serious, stone cold, professionals. Gabriel Urbina (@nothingnovel) and Sarah Shachat (@shach_attack) paint a much different picture, this squad reminds you much more of Hawkeye and Trapper John from M*A*S*H as they are telling jokes and doing bits while disarming a detonator from several pounds of plastic explosives. Time Bombs was born from of a challenge to produce an audio drama in a week, I would hope that they would consider taking a week every year to produce more of this series. I would love for them to touch base with theses characters in the future, even if it is to make sure they still have all ten fingers and toes.

A short podcast series of the highest quality! Into comedic banter, suspense, great music, charismatic (if incredibly flawed) characters, or police jargon? Definitely listen to this. IT’S SHORT. JUST LISTEN. Cannot recommend enough.
