Episode Fifty-Two, 'ManDATE of Hope' follows the previous Episodes in which the powerful impact "hopeful yearning" for Moshiach can be was documented, clarified, and richly illustrated in novel and compelling fashion. We will now go beyond revealing the extraordinary potency vested in our eternal Jewish Optimism. Beyond, because possibility can remain but an option to exercise. The Episode presents classic Torah sources demonstrating that unleashing a redemptive force of spirit by maintaining that hope is, in fact, mandatory! As we re-visit the last major happening of King David's legendary reign, an incredible lesson for [Jewish] life comes to light in the most chilling of ways... Simply stated, it becomes crystal clear that we are Jewishly obligated to continue to kindle and nurture -- within our hearts and minds -- a flaming desire of anticipatory yearning, despite the passage of time and the increasingly remote idea of Hashem's Holy Home in Jerusalem ~ the proverbial Beit HaMikdash. Comprising the Fifty-Second segment in our ongoing study series on The Geula, our final Redemption referred to as the Coming of Moshiach (Messiah), this Episode is once again dedicated to honour the holy Neshama of Reb Michoel Dovid ben Avraham Yosef on occasion of his recently observed 45th Yahrzeit, Chai (18th of) Adar Rishon.
