Here we introduce a Halachic precedent (and, as such, ultimately an obligation!) that exceeds mere articulation of conviction and anticipation for Redemption. Following a logical progression, we are led into a natural conclusion: anticipation is indicative of a genuine need. And that should lead us to prayer! The emphasis on using the medium of fervent prayer in response to even a mention of Moshiach's coming inspires a deeper understanding of Anticipating Geula!
