Akash Maithal - Our Host for this episode, Akash is a Radio Jockey and has been a Digital Media Consultant for Comic-Con, Gaana, and many more organizations. He has been riding Royal Enfield motorcycles since 2004, starting with the Thunderbird, moving to the Continental GT 535 in 2013 eventually getting on the Interceptor 650 n 2019.
Col Sohan Roy - An Indian Army Veteran, Col Sohan Roy has been riding motorcycles since his young days and was one of the first people to buy the Classic 500 when it was launched. He has a teal green classic 500 which he affectionately calls Wizard and has travelled far and wide across India. Almost 2 decades after his retirement he continues to be a passionate rider. In his own words, " You don't stop biking as you age. You start ageing when you stop biking." Fondly called the 'Grand old man of Indian Motorcycling', Col Roy is passionate about many social causes and is the Founder of 'Save the Girl Child Initiative'.
Vanaja Jadhav - An Artist and Creative Media professional, Vanaja spent significant time with a renowned design house in Pune excelling at her career before taking 2 very bold decisions. The first one was to quit her job and start a food truck dishing out yummy eats and operating in the commercial hub of Mumbai and the other one was to pick up the Royal Enfield Classic motorcycle, even without knowing how to ride it. The form and silhouette of the motorcycle had enchanted her for a long time and she gave in to that temptation eventually. The showroom staff had to drop her bike to her residence on the day of delivery as she did not know how to ride it. Over time she started riding it and today tours around the countryside with her friends discovering the explorer side of her
Robin Abraham - A BPO professional from Navi Mumbai, Robin has been an avid biker since his early days and the passion which caught on early in his life has been one of the main driving forces for over 15 years. Known by his signature long beard and distinct look it is no surprise that his social media account is famous as Beardo Rob. He calls his motorcycle Optimus inspired by the Transformers and it has been his favourite partner on the highway. He feels that the overall look and feel of the motorcycle went with his bald and bearded persona and that was one of the biggest reasons for settling on this motorcycle. He calls himself a jack of all trades and dabbles in multiple things but it is riding around on his Classic that always tops his list.
