Where are the hard/obvious/important questions?
I just started listening to this podcast a little while ago. But I haven’t looked at time probably for 15 years. I used to enjoy the articles and the depth of the reporting. So you can imagine my shock when I listen to the pieces on this podcast. there’s no other way to say it: Such pandering! The obsequious ingratiating tone of this podcast towards the powerful makes me gag, but Your CEO of the year is “super” distressing. The disingenuousness of this individual is so obvious and you let him get away with it. Nay, your senior editor aids and abets. Sam, the sound-bite ceo who is so hip with the lingo demonstrates an appalling world view that is outrageously skewed. He exhibits no compassion or understanding of the suffering his products will cause while casually stating that there will be trouble starting with elections, with democracy and there will be change… and won’t it be exciting. The world is so bright, for everyone but the Jews… still downtrodden. Yes let’s discuss the specific continuing disrespect of Jewish people while ignoring the plight of the rest of the planet. And O yes, this is the dude I want charting the course to my future. I should be so lucky to be the canon fodder for Sam’s new world. If he hooked up with Klaus Schwab perhaps we can get all of us unfortunates into a Soylent Green kind of situation. Come on. Don’t make the online trolls right about main stream media. Do better. Be objective. Think about what you’re putting out there.

It’s frustrating and harkens back to NY Times misreporting of black issues and racist tones in its publications....Read full review »

The Host Charlotte Alter has great command with these interviews. We get some terrific insight with the guests. I particularly love the last segment questions. Look forward to Thursday when the next installments drop.
