Such important content - wish Sheila did this podcast solo
I just wanted to add my voice - gently - to the others leaving feedback about Rebecca’s approach to discussion on this podcast. I have benefited GREATLY from the content these two cover, so I’m not critiquing their positions on some really hard and controversial topics (I agree with them). Even if I disagreed with them, that wouldn’t be a reason to me to not give a 5 star review. My three stars instead of 5 is because I find Rebecca’s manner of speaking to be so difficult to listen to. Sheila speaks with assertiveness and passion, yet always blends that with grace and humility. But I regularly find myself relieved when I come across an episode where Sheila is flying solo without her daughter because I don’t find the same to be true about Rebecca’s approach to sharing her views and rationales or critiquing others. Listen: We do NOT all have to be the same in personality. But there’s also something to be said for slowing down, taking a breath, and really intentionally communicating humility on your approach to discussion. I find myself turning episodes off lately because as a listener it’s unenjoyable to listen to Rebecca operate at a level 9 out of 10 in volume and/or annoyance for the span of an episode — even when I’m REALLY interested in the topic of the episode. I’m grateful these women are giving voice to such important subjects and I hope this aspect of Rebecca will evolve with time so there will be no barriers to others hearing and receiving their message!

I enjoy listening to Sheila and her podcast when she speaks. However, her daughter Rebecca talks way too much and rambles on. I would prefer hearing Sheila, who is middle age and has much more experience share her wisdom. This is very frustrating!
