South East Asia is known for its rich tradition of folk tales, especially those supernatural creatures like the infamous Pontianak or the Penanggalan. But have you ever heard of the Philippine mythology of the Duwende that resemble little old men? In the first story, a friend recounts a time from their childhood where they unwittingly disrespect the home of the Duwende, only to suffer immediate consequences.
