“When I went to teach at a new school, one of the teachers there asked me about my family. When I said I had a 9 year old daughter with a disability, he said, “Oh you are lucky she was born like that. I have 5 very intelligent kids and it would be much worse for me if one of those kids had an accident and became disabled.” How do people think like this much less say it?”
