Great if you enjoy mindless drivel
As a fan of movies, I enjoy light hearted discussion on film, insights into both movie-making and how movies make us feel. Throw in some trivia, some amusing witticisms between podcasters with chemistry and it’s a winning formula. Unfortunately for me and the 1 hr 10mins I’ve irrevocably lost, the Blank Slate Movie Podcast contained none of these ingredients. 30 mins in with barely a mention of the movie review I had almost lost hope, then 15 mins of vague reference to Sinister which could only be called a review by the most generous of listener, painfully concluding the faeces sandwich with more aimless chatter. The “comedic” team keep the chatter so light on content, meaning and any sort of value that I found myself stopping the podcast to rebuild some hope for humanity, before then optimistically returning, only to be repeatedly disappointed. Whilst being Australian might be seen as a positive, in this instance it can only serve to damage Australia’s reputation, so let’s all patriotically hope this podcast is wrapped up asap. I would recommend this podcast only to masochistic, immortals who have the time to waste, and might gain pleasure from the painfully mind-numbing moronity.

Honestly, listening to two people who obviously love each other so much is the highlight of my week.

Each show somehow makes the progression from dick jokes to insightful film criticism. Also, finding out that one of the guys was Jaydos blew my mind.
