Motivational advertisement
I thought I’d found a really well done podcast, but the more I listen, I discover it is really just a motivational advertisement. It even has a weird and unneeded mystical portion of your mind making changes to the universe - I skip those. The vast majority of weekly editions of this podcast are fireside chats with people who are taking his school program and talking about the trades they do. It is helpful to listen to some of these to get in the right mindset and motivated to start investing, but you’ll have to go somewhere else for the how to. ... Tyrone certainly helps with understanding and making a change in your thinking that money is not harmful. He teases you with the type of trades he does and acts as a launching base for research on how to do those trades. He does do a good job on teaching terminology used in stock investments and options, just not how to do those trades. As for instruction, there is nothing in this podcast that tells you how to do what he does. That is reserved for the people that want to invest in his WI Trade School. This is based on listening to 76 of his podcasts and not just 2-3.

I found this podcast to be quite disappointing and potentially harmful for beginners. The advice given is often misguided and could lead to poor investment decisions. Instead, I recommend reading works by Joel Greenblatt, Mohnish Pabrai, or Seth Klarman for a more solid investment education....Read full review »
