“I consider this podcast as the best backpacking one. However, for the last few weeks, I have these very annoying « Ambient Colorado » ads, twice per episode, usually popping up right in the middle of a sentence. I get sponsoring is necessary, and I don’t mind the usual ads made by Kyle, but these new ones are just way too intrusive. I’ll happily change this review into a 5* one when these ads disappear, or at the very least don’t interrupt anything ! (As a side note, it was quite fun to listen to a guest saying they don’t want to walk the North island part of Te Araroa because it’s « mostly roadwalking and bad trails », just as I was roadwalking to avoid one of these bad trails 👍 I definitely won’t object on that !)”

“Better guest questions: why is it so superinfection that your wife is still working and your furloughed? Guests don’t know what this gentleman’s wife does for work. Without proper interviewing this presents as gender/sex bias about women’s stereotypical roles as the homemaker.
