Reforestation post wildfires and Christmas Trees with Austin Rempel @ American Forests
Description
Austin Rempel works at American Forests, one of the oldest conservation organizations in the US founded in 1875. After getting his degrees in Ecology from University of Boulder and attending the Yale School of Forestry, Austin has been working on some of the most intense deforestation projects in post-wildfire environments. In this conversation, we chat about some of the amazing projects that American Forests helps fund, controversies around tree thinning, and how trees and social impact intersect. Austin also gives his take and tips on the Christmas Tree industry.
