Great Content
If you’re even remotely interested in acute care surgery or emergency medicine, I can’t recommend this podcast highly enough. I’m currently an EMT studying pre-med, so these podcasts are a steep learning curve at times. Dr. Dennis Kim is an excellent instructor and interviewer; he’s succinct, organized, and still humble as he pulls from a wealth of knowledge. You’ll find yourself listening to episode after episode in no time. Much of what I see at the level I trauma facility I work in leaves me eager to learn more and understand the “why” behind the care that is provided. This podcast is an invaluable resource that I’ve shared with fellow techs and nurses who also want to deepen their knowledge of trauma care. It has allowed me to become a better student of medicine. I’m equipped to ask better questions when I get to work with surgeons in the ED. They, in turn, light up at the chance to share what they know. Big shout out to Dr. Kim and the whole team behind Trauma ICU Rounds. Keep the content coming!
