“9 thumbs up”
Hi there - love this podcast! Especially as someone who really doesn’t have any international travel experience, hearing about someone else’s experiences helps immensely. Could you get a Podcast going about tips for traveling solo? I’m a native Midwesterner and Chicagoan - so I would appreciate this podcast to bring it a little more back to earth, tell me about typical and cheesy touristy things. (And yes I listened to your over-tourism podcast about how everyone is going to see the same things) Also regarding your Chicago trip podcast- I was disappointed that you guys really left out quintessential Chicago things to do! I think peoples first time visiting these places, they want to do typical tourist things. Like I would tell people to go to the Bean (even though it’s only ok) but Grant Park and Buckingham Fountain and Lincoln Park and Oak Street Beach and Navy Pier and Magnificent Mile shopping and eating. Keep up the good work, this is still a very entertaining and useful podcast, I would just like to hear you guys being a little more authentic and down to earth!
