Forgiving can be so hard, especially when the wrong done to us seems unforgiveable. But when we look at Jesus at Calvary, whatever was done to us can never compare to what was done to Him on the cross. And He said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!” If Jesus sought forgiveness for His offenders, so can we. On today's Treasured Truth, we’ll continue to explore how Jesus compared believers to salt. We’ll discover that in those days, when salt had lost its savor—or lost its potential to bring flavor—they would take it and throw it out in the road for people to walk on it.  And today Pastor Ford will explain what Jesus meant when He compared certain believers to savorless salt. On today's Treasured Truth, Pastor Ford will explain what Jesus meant when He said that believers are the salt of the earth. They add zest and flavor to an otherwise bland world.  Others see their joy, love, and commitment and are drawn to Christ.  But why aren’t people drawn to some believers? He’ll explain it’s because they’re not salty enough and they don’t display to the world the attractiveness of Christ. Jesus said, “Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age…” So, with that statement, He was reassuring us that we can be confident that God is always working on our behalf.  And that means when God is silent, He’s actually working behind the scenes and doing things that we don’t even realize, in order to get us to the place where He wants us to be. On today's Treasured Truth, we’ll continue to look at how the Apostle Paul described and dealt with his “thorn in the flesh.” Pastor Ford will point out that there was a tension, or a tandem nature about Paul’s situation—God graced the suffering to him, but Satan was the one who was giving him fits.  Satan was the one causing his pain.  It wasn’t God.  God was the one being gracious toward him. And that realization was critical to Paul’s understanding of what God was trying to accomplish in...
