“I have never considered myself a true Trek Geek but have always been a big fan of all the shows. I have to admit right away that I do work with fan 1701 and it has been awesome to see this podcast grow since he started doing it and I now look for the new episode every Monday morning on my way to work. It has brought back so many great memories one of which I will share.
While I am not a true Trek Geek a former roommate of mine was a huge Trek Geek and had, amongst all his other Star Trek collectables, a life size cardboard cutout of Deanna Troi. We would move her around the house to startle and amuse each other all the time. After a night of heavy partying it was not uncommon to walk into your bedroom and have Deanna standing just inside your bedroom door waiting for you. It got to the point where we would both talk to her at times like she was just another roommate living with us. She was a great listener... Go figure…
Anyway, love the podcasts and guests that you have been able to put together! REALLY love how enthusiastic Dan is working on this. Sorry Bill I have never had the privilege to meet you, but if you are even half as pumped as Dan is on a daily basis with doing this show it is no wonder the show is so good. Oh, and that old roommate, he is a loyal listener now as well!
