“Arc 2’s boss fight with the foe’s unique ability is what sold me for this podcast. Then, came Arc 4 and when Arc 10 happened, I can’t stop being so invested in everything. This is my first time being involved with anything to do with DnD, but I know when the mechanics of a medium is being used well. There is no book, movie, or video game that can pull anything like this off. Not only did I like the environment, but I also like how the main players interacted with that environment. And, of course, it’s nice to see that everyone in the podcast is having fun with this. It reminded me of that one time when people in my high school literature class volunteered in reading parts of the play, A Doll House, and everyone was so into their roles that it made an already good plot 100x better. I thought that I was never going experience something like that again but y’all brought it back for me. The only critique I can think of is that words like “humankind” (better than mankind) and “no man’s land” would break my immersion for a bit when this is a world where all sorts of beings exist, but there’s going to be human error at some point lol. Anyway, if someone were to recommend me to another DnD podcast, it better be as good or event better than this one, and y’all set the bar real high.”
