Description
Our guest is lawyer turned travel blogger Jen Ruiz. She challenged herself to do 12 trips in a 12 month time span and actually wound up doing 20 trips, all while employed full time. Her journeys took her to Greece, Argentina, Thailand and Iceland to name a few, and did it all before she turned 30.
She has been featured in the Washington Post, ABC News and The Huffington Post as a budget and solo travel expert. She's also a best selling author for her debut book back in 2018, The Affordable Flight Guide: How to Find Cheap Flights and See the World on a Budget. She's gone on to write several more books which we discuss throughout the podcast. Jen's success as a travel guru allowed her to hang up her legal shield. In addition to her travels, Jen is a noted public speaker having appeared on TedX numerous times. Her website Jenonajetplane is chock full of stories on destinations, travel tips, remote workers and more.
