“I’m glad the hosts are taking time from their schedules to put this show together. Their insightful perspectives and knowledge of the Fighting Game Community or “FGC” (as it’s known by those within it) are entertaining and informative, covering history and current topics.
What’s baffling is the jarring and disruptive way advertisements are interspersed throughout the show, especially considering the combined production experience of these three and the quality of their other published work (YouTube). I don’t care that ads exist, it’s the lack of care for how they’re done that’s just terrible.
It’s especially notable that podcast reviews mentioning the ad issue were talked about on the show, more in a condescending way than anything, yet nothing has been done to make it better.”
