“Greetings from across the pond in the US of A! Short term-ism is terrible when it comes to decision making. We definitely see too much of it, but when we incentivize it through short term limits that’s what we get. There’s too many examples of short term thinking/bad incentives that have plagued business as well (think Enron, US financial crisis, Wells Fargo false accounts, dot com bubble, etc.). I doubt it will ever go away.”
