Now it's the 'Coutts Two' - Mocha Bezirgan
Listen now
Description
Now out of custody for the first time in two years, Jerry Morin and Chris Lysak have gone home. They’ve both agreed to a plea deal involving gun crimes with the more serious charge of conspiracy to murder RCMP officers withdrawn — begging the question — what was the Crown's actual case? The men, plus two others, had been held in custody for two years without bail, but recent momentum from the Mosley decision and advocacy from Tucker Carlson may have helped ease their way home. It is unclear if any deals are being offered to Chris Carbert and Anthony Olienick. The only accredited journalist actually in the courtroom was Mocha Bezirgan.  Watch for the VIDEO episode on Substack.
