I learned so much so readily through Jeff Wright’s engaging storytelling. The background is particularlyoverlandtening; the Illiad begins very much in the middle of the story and even if one understands, through the various translations, what the work actually says plainly, there is a lot missing. Jeff’s fantastic podcast fills in all the gaps and makes both works a continuous, coherent story.”
