That was part of a winning week for the Dodgers, who won five out of six games after getting their lineup back at full strength with Max Muncy and Tommy Edman activated off the injured list. Muncy had five extra-base hits in his first week back.
Jason Heyward was designated for assignment, but hit a game-winning three-run home run as his final act with the Dodgers.
The Dodgers this week got discouraging news on Tyler Glasnow, whose return from elbow tendinitis will be a slow process, questioning his eventual availability for the postseason.
