“Just so you know Karla’s parents were out for the evening when Tammy was killed. So no they were not present. Also Kirsten and Leslie were raped by Karla and recorded by her when Paul left the home and left Karla alone with them. As a Canadian who has read every book on this couple I’m very well informed. Karla goes by the last name Teale (so she is still holding onto something from Paul) not her present husbands, which was a name Paul went by (I believe it was his bio dads last name). She also didn’t just go on a field trip with the children, she volunteered in the school a lot. Her parents are still in her life even after what she did to her sister. Canadas justice system works differently than the states. Here you aren’t charged with murder just because you’re present when a murder happens. That is why she wasn’t charged with first degree murder in her plea deal. The police did not know she actually participated.”
