Karla and Paul
Just so you know Karla’s parents were out for the evening when Tammy was killed. So no they were not present. Also Kirsten and Leslie were raped by Karla and recorded by her when Paul left the home and left Karla alone with them. As a Canadian who has read every book on this couple I’m very well informed. Karla was possibly more guilty than Paul. Before Paul met Karla he had never killed anyone. Also the meeting Karla had with police took place at her lawyers office, not at the hospital. That is how she got the deal. Once the deal was signed her lawyer told them about the tapes. Karla goes by the last name Teale (so she is still holding onto something from Paul) not her present husbands, which was a name Paul went by (I believe it was his bio dads last name). She also didn’t just go on a field trip with the children, she volunteered in the school a lot. Her parents are still in her life even after what she did to her sister. Canadas justice system works differently than the states. Here you aren’t charged with murder just because you’re present when a murder happens. That is why she wasn’t charged with first degree murder in her plea deal. The police did not know she actually participated.

More reviews of True Crime Brewery
I stumbled on this podcast about 3 months ago and I thought that the host were so much different than most other podcasts that I usually listen to. After listening to the first one I was hooked! I love how they tell the stories! I love the banter between the hosts as well! 5 stars!

It has to take an incredible amount of time for them to find all of history behind the main stories. They...Read full review »

I generally enjoy this podcast. Subject matter is usually interesting. Two irritants in my opinion: Dick sounds like he is reading text in a monotone fashion and Jill’s gratuitous use of the F-word.
