“I just listened to Lady in the Box where Jill described themselves as hosts as “not bubbly.” I like that. A lot of the less stellar reviews say that the hosts are low inflection but I think “not bubbly” is better. That’s part of the appeal for me. I like this and Casefile because I can listen while awake and doing chores or exercising AND listen whilst I drift off to sleep.
This podcast is well researched and has a great format with interesting beer reviews (yum!), a crime, and then a listener suggestion section with bonus crime and beer recommendations. I also enjoy how well the hosts share the content and have a natural and smooth flow in their transitions. Thank you especially for the backstories that focus on the victim. As a LONG time true crime enthusiast, I can’t recommend True Crime Brewery enough.”
