Alex & Marcus Lewis are survivors of human sex trafficking. January is officially "National Human Trafficking Prevention Month." These cases are often misunderstood because many are not aware of the epidemic that human trafficking is. This is not only happening to kidnapped children. This is not only happening in large scale crime rings. This is happening in our everyday communities. A child is most likely to be trafficked by a family member.
