Advice
Friend, unfortunately, I could only make it through my first episode. I know podcasting can be expensive, so if I may, I’d like to give you some suggestions of improvements that cost nothing: Your delivery is mumbled, too fast, and flat. I heard Adele say that she taught herself to sing by listening to her favorite singers every day and emulating them. Some podcasters I recommend with excellent delivery are Lindsay Graham, Candice DeLong, Mike Corey, and Cassie De Pecol. Notice to the inflection in their voices, their pacing, and their clarity. And turn up your volume. Practice your script before recording it, then edit out the mistakes. In the McDonalds shooting episode, you mispronounced and stumbled over the names throughout the entire show. When you do mess up, clean up the recording with an editor. Every phone has one until you can afford something more sophisticated. Work on your writing skills. It almost sounded like you were reading the police report: name, age, description of wounds, repeat. Tell a story rather than read a list of facts. The portion where you told the background of the shooter was good—add more like that. People regularly listen to 1.5-hour episodes; don’t worry that it will make your story too long. When you have a little money, get a better microphone. Just do this. Good luck, I wish you the best.

I only listened to one episode but it was 100% a verbatim reading of the Wikipedia page.
