“I’m a little put off by the recent episode as somebody that lives in the area that was devastated by the hurricane in WNC and fairly close to lake lure. At the end of the episode they talked about lakes disappearing due to climate change and they mention lake lure where dirty dancing was filmed. I understand that people are attributing the recent flux of major hurricanes to climate change. But lake lure is still there. Right now you might not be able to do it but they give pontoon boat tours. The lake is officially below full finally. But everything is there. Lake lure is not gone”
