“Found your podcast and enjoy it on my commute each day! Should check out the “Quad Mom” murder case involving Sheila Bellush. Ex-husband Alan Blackthorne was convicted of taking out a hit on her with a pair of guys he met on the golf course (where he was later arrested)
Bellush was killed her throat in front of her toddler quadruplets, discovered by her teen daughter. Killer fled to Mexico. Ties to Texas, Florida and Mexico. Very interesting case and Blackthorne was eventually murdered in prison.
HUGE media case here in Texas-covered it as a journalist back in the day.
