It's ok.
Panel is nice enough, but for a crew who's expressed goal is to breakdown and analyze tv, there isn't a lot of analysis. Mostly a lot of "Wow! It's good" or "But, yeah, it's just great!" Also, details! For the first few episodes, the host kept referring to Brigid Moynihan's character who, while beautiful and talented, didn't make the leap from Blue Bloods. Or, when they kept referring to Geraci as "Sheriff Childress"... I mean, in a world where it's so hard to get audio content out quicker than print, I understand the rush, but you're a team of 5! Admittedly, I still listen each week hoping for interesting insights rather than cheerleading, and the analysis did get better the last 2 episodes. (One of the panel started taking bigger stabs and was doing his homework.) Hope the system is better the next time through (True Detective 2), because I know they all have the potential.

Talk about The Yellow King, Carcosa, the...Read full review »
