We often hear this expression 'just forgive and forget.' What often happens, however, when we simply forget past violations is that we tend to unconsciously recreate the situation in a new context, with a new cast of characters, playing the same old roles as before. The only way we can truly forgive without continuing to recreate situations that allow people to harm us is by developing our subtle intellect, a faculty of the higher mind in the Vedic spiritual tradition, which is known as the buddhi. Learn the difference between intelligence and intellect in this episode, and how you can develop your intellect to be able to forgive by never forgetting the spiritual power that you are at your core. You will also learn in this episode what it means to serve Truth and the greatest good of all in strong ways, with forgiveness in your heart.
