We live in a world of projection. There is so much we can learn about ourselves and one another by listening very deeply to our own words, those of others and the emotions underlying them. If we look very closely, we will see that whatever we really admire in another is a reflection of what is admirable within us. Whatever we criticize in another is what we are critical of in our own selves.
That is why it is so important to continuously look inwards and engage in battle with the lower qualities within our own selves that we wish to transform, to be true to our higher Self. As the Prophet Muhammed once said: "the most excellent jihad is the conquest of one's self." Winning the war within is also the subject of The Bhagavad Gita, the 9-night goddess festival of Navratri, and so many other epic spiritual conquests. Learn in this podcast how you can start tuning into your own criticisms to practice releasing judgments towards others and continuously work to transform your own negativities instead.
