Though I regularly arrive at different conclusions than Dr. Ortlund, I don’t hesitate to listen to what he has to say on the topics he discusses for an honest evaluation and treatment of the underlying aspects of the text of scripture and the broader debate on any given subject. He helps the listener distill the conversation into the fundamental questions about the text of scripture or the intellectual/philosophical underpinnings of why we’re even having the discussion about the given topics.
