She also breaks down the chemistry behind nerves, what differentiates nervousness from anxiety, and how to manage those emotions before and during a game to avoid overwhelm. Haley reflects on finding her unique edge as a golf content creator, her plans for pivoting into YouTube, and the ethical considerations behind teaching golf as an “influencer” in the sport.   About Haley Bookholdt: A Gen-Z ambassador for women’s golf, Haley Bookholdt is a former Elon University athlete. She is the recipient of the 2017 USGA-AJGA Presidents' Leadership Award that is presented annually to one male and one female junior golfer who demonstrates leadership, character and community service. She competed in two USGA national championships, including the 2015 U.S. Women's Amateur in Portland, OR, and the 2014 U.S. Girls' Junior in Flagstaff, AZ.
