Many songs written for children resonate with adults, especially when they have melodies that stick with and uplift us. Horatius Bonar connected with children, enjoying a great ministry with them while he filled the pulpit. I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say was one of the songs he wrote for children that also ministers to adults.
