“This is a very valuable podcast and particularly helpful for new followers of the mystics and contemplative prayer practice. James Finley has so very much to offer. I highly recommend it.
I do have one suggestion for the makers and I am offering it in the spirit of loving kindness: Kirsten, your questions and interest as the interviewer are excellent. You may not realize that you have a habit of murmuring “hmm” quite often during Jame’s explanations and comments. It becomes quite distracting, in my opinion. If you could try not to do that, to be silent until he is finished and you have something to say, I think it would be helpful to listeners. I also find it unnecessary to thank him after every answer he gives.
