Gratitude to Jim, CAC & Kirsten🙏
Uncle Finley allows his body to be used as a conduit through which flows Wisdom from the heart of the Cosmos, the heart of Creation, the heart of the eternal Presence presencing itself in and as the gift of THIS. In these covid19 pandemic times that voice that is transmitted through the momentary yet real voice of Jim speaks deeply, eloquently & profoundly to my heart in a heart to heart resonance & receptivity. Jim speaking to us 6 days after the passing of his beloved Maureen is both the embodiment of compassion and his own path to a momentary place in the peace that surpasses understanding. I wept —-no wailed—-as Jim echoed in his own words, in his own images, a series of encounters when the Divine momentarily is seen and felt before quickly receding as our busyness and distractions return us to the normal patterns. Jim replaced such words of Merton in the closing to New Seeds of Contemplation as “the Japanese poet Basho” with Jim’s series of openings in the diaphanous veil. Thank you, CAC, thank you, Kirsten, thank you, Uncle Finley, for being a balm to me in these troubled and troubling pandemic times🙏❤️. Frank Sasinowski

Ever since I read a Merton’s Palace of Nowhere I’ve known that James Finley spoke a language that my soul understood. Really looking forward to this. The stories of the interviewer could have been my own. I feel like I’ve found my people! Thank you to all of you.
