“I had never listened to any Ringer podcasts until they hired Joanna from VF, and I, a big fan, followed her here, and it’s been a dream to listen to her cover so many shows and topics across the Ringer Podcast Network … until now. I was so amped to hear Joanna was going to do a Westworld podcast because it’s how I started listening to her many years ago. But Danny and David (but especially Danny) are obnoxious, rude, and unprepared cohosts. They interrupt Joanna, they clearly don’t have any interest in her more intellectual and thoughtful takes (like English major corner), and they seem to show up unprepared, like not even bothering to do or read the prep for the show they allegedly used to run. For a show about the details, Danny and David seem to miss a lot and yet love to listen to themselves repeat the most upvoted theories on Reddit in bro language. Would love to listen to Joanna recap Westworld with literally anyone else.”
