Description
This week on TVPL the Pilots discuss the TV show 'You'. Not “you” per se, but maybe all of “us?” Like categorically “you” could be “me?” No, not “you” specifically, “you” in the sense of really anyone, the royal “you?” No, that’s not the right “you.” Actually maybe it’s not “you” like “us” maybe it’s just “you” as the seasonal hyperfixation of “you”. Third base.
Anywho, they cover everything from the show's origin and creators Sara Gamble and Greg Berlanti, the portrayal of the main character Joe Goldberg by Penn Badgley, the stylistic choice of internal dialogue, and the unsettling and charming nature of the show. Joe's manipulation tactics, some outdoor activities and the expert camera work in the show. Stay tuned for a wild in-flight question and a thank you to all of our frequent flyers.
