There are already masses of podcasts devoted to teacher self improvement and I have learned tonnes from experienced hands sharing their wisdom online. Indeed, I have learned significantly more from Mr P’s blog in my first 3 years of teaching than I ever did from my PGCE guidance tutor.
Perhaps the most valuable message he shares is that this job is a privilege and is full of life-affirming, motivational, occasionally side-splitting moments. This podcast is an extension of that point. Sharing the funniest school stories with people who are on the same wavelength is guaranteed to make school staff laugh and remind us all that we really do have the best job in the world!”
