“I enjoyed their discussion of the history of science fiction and their decisions of which sci-fi tropes use, which to reject, and which to subvert in creating The Expanse. Particularly, I liked that they spoke about the contrast of space as a domain for the honorable, wealthy, or military and space as a place for the working class. Ty is a veritable encyclopedia when it comes to sci-fi and film history and “that guy” isn’t far behind him, so it’s an absolute pleasure to hear them dive into what inspires them both in the genre and in filmmaking in general.”
