“I love this this podcast. I am an American with roots in Italy and in Eastern Europe (Lithuania, Poland & probably others as well - maybe even Ukraine). Since the war began, I have been wanting to learn Ukrainian. I think the language is beautiful, and considering what’s happening, I think it is possible that someday we may all have some new Ukrainian neighbors, and I want to be able to make friends. I have been listening to Anna for the last few weeks, and I am really enjoying learning from her. (My heart breaks when she talks of her love of Kyiv, Karkiev and other cities because I know these first lessons were recorded quite a few years ago.)
