“Ukrainian isn’t my first, second or third language. But this has to be my favorite. As a speaker of English, Spanish, French, Ukrainian, Japanese and Korean, I’ve became quite a critic of language learning apps. I was so happy to see this!
I’ve been learning Ukrainian for about a year now. However, progress was very slow and Duolingo lacked explanation, but when I found your podcast, I was delighted!
As a Ukrainian, I wanted to learn the language to understand my culture better and when the war started it just speeded up my desire to learn. I hope you and your entire family are okay on these troubling times and should know that support is there!
I was wondering. Is there a different dialect in the Chornobyl area versus Kyiv. My family is from there and I want to be as authentic as possbile.
