Description
Pete Kostelnick joins the UR inner sanctum to talk about his next adventure: running 50 miles in all 50 states in 50 days. Pete’s no stranger to monumental endurance feats - he’s the current World Record holder for the fastest coast-to-coast crossing of the United States by foot. He ran from San Francisco to New York City in 42 days, 6 hours and 30 minutes. He is also a two-time Badwater 135 champion and is the fifth-fastest North American of all-time at the 24-hour event, covering 163.5 miles (an average pace of 8:48 per mile). Not to be outdone, he also ran from Alaska to Key West, Florida self-supported. Pete also gives us a sneak peek at his epic quest later this year. Stay tuned after Pete's interview for our "What’s the Issue" segment with UltraRunning Magazine editor, Amy Clark.  Enter to win the UltraRunning Magazine Swag Bag Contest.
