“I have always liked listening to Van Jones on CNN. He’s a very calm, compelling speaker and is so respectful of opposition. I have enjoyed several of his episodes here but after the Kim Kardashian episode I am going to unsubscribe. His podcast has several criminal justice reform podcasts (including the Kardashian one)and that apparently is something Van feels strongly about. This particular episode was just gushing over his guest and giving very little substantive context or facts as to the “innocent” criminals that they both feel should be released. Just because someone says they are innocent doesn’t mean they are. Just because Kim Kardashian thinks someone is innocent because he’s her client, doesn’t mean he is. I would have respected Van a great deal more had he talked about fact specific cases (and actually given ALL the facts, not just what helps his view). There are real victims of these criminals and a truthful version of all facts should be presented.”
