The worst example of investigative
This is awful. A story strung out from nothing but some local sensationalism. The ‘journalists’ (and I use the term loosely) are inexperience and out of their depth. Real Scooby Doo stuff and more Scooby and Shaggy than Daphne and Thelma trust me. Real shame that Apple are putting stuff out like this. A nothing story that simply amounts to these hosts trampling all over someone’s life and I actually think there should be much stricter rules on this sort of story telling. I love docos, whether visual or audio, and in particular investigative stuff, but this is poor. Good production values but editorially all over the place and this project should never have seen the light of day. If Apple want to see how to produce content with real integrity, rather than a group of mates nosing through dead people’s lives, they should simple follow BBC Sounds. Please don’t waste your time with this. I held on thinking surely something is going to break but it doesn’t. And I’ve realised that with one ep to go and I really can’t be bothered. The whole series is based on a couple of uneducated people sensationalising a nothing story, using hyperbole that seems to then direct this team’s “investigation” as “facts” they really latch on to. Real amateur stuff.

There’s no real evidence and everything is speculation, especially from the hosts. And there’s no resolution.

What about: The body, which was never seen and could not have decomposed to a liquid state in two or even four days? The weird CIA and Scotland Yard calls? The missing family? Perhaps some genealogical research...Read full review »

Also, being from Texas and familiar with the area makes it even more interesting! I will be looking forward to hearing the rest of the...Read full review »
